The Problem:

Most sustainability brands look generic and forgettable.
The market is crowded, making it hard to stand out.
Weco risked blending in despite a strong idea.
The challenge was creating a brand people feel proud to join.

The Goal:

Make everyday employees excited enough to actually use it.
Create an identity that feels fresh and human, not recycled and corporate.
Design something bold enough to attract attention in a crowded market.
Show that going green can actually be fun.

Research & Strategy:

Defined a target audience of employees seeking simple, engaging ways to be eco-friendly at work.
Analyzed competitors to identify gaps in engagement and personality.
Positioned Weco as a fun, human, and gamified eco platform.
Explored moodboards and style directions to shape bold, playful brand attributes.

Design Thinking:

Combined the “W” and a leaf into one seamless, meaningful shape.
Avoided clichés to create something distinct and memorable.
Chose a clean, modern typeface to keep the brand grounded and approachable.
Focused on a balance of structure and organic form to reflect both brand and mission.

The Result:

Boosted how employees and clients perceive the brand.
Created consistent visuals across all touchpoints.
Strengthened Weco’s overall visual identity.
Made the brand more recognizable and memorable.
